Q2 2025 Performance of Top Dining Apps in Romania

During the second quarter of 2025, the top dining and restaurant applications in Romania showed varied performance trends on a unified platform.

McDonald’s saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at about 15.8K at the beginning of the quarter before dipping to around 10.5K by the end of April. The app's weekly active users started at approximately 448K, experiencing a mid-quarter low of around 327K, and then rebounding to over 425K by the end of June.

KFC România experienced a decrease in weekly downloads from 9.2K at the start of April to about 4.6K by the end of June. Active users also saw a decline, beginning at around 180K and ending the quarter at approximately 132K.

For Bonapp: Save tasty food!, downloads surged in early May to 5.3K but dropped significantly to just 686 by the end of the quarter. Despite this, the app maintained a stable active user base, starting at 22.8K and closing the quarter with around 21.3K.

Dodo Pizza. Pizza Delivery saw an increase in downloads from 543 at the end of March to a peak of 2.8K in early May, followed by a decline to just over 1K by the end of June. The app's active users grew steadily from 4.6K to a peak of 8.5K in mid-May, before settling at 6.8K.

Finally, Starbucks Romania experienced a decrease in downloads from 1.9K at the beginning of April to 916 by the end of June. Nevertheless, active users displayed a mid-quarter peak of 21.4K, ending at around 15K.
